Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe to play?
Absolutely! The only equipment that is allowed to be used at our facility is specifically designed for Archery Tag.. Each player is given a protective face mask and is required to wear footwear.. Players play with only Archery Tag® bows and foam-tipped arrows to offer virtually no pain during gameplay. To ensure safety, other types of bows or arrows are prohibited.
How long is each session?
Each session is 2.0 hours long. This includes 20 minutes of rules briefing, basic archery shooting technique and practice time. Game times begin at scheduled time and end at the scheduled time. Session times can be extended if the schedule allows.
Can I come by and play?
At this time we do not have "drop-in" times but we do offer special event nights to bring new players to experience the game. Keep up to date with these announcements on our Archery Tag Mexico Facebook page.
I don’t have any archery experience. is this a problem?
Like any new experience there is a learning curve but prior to the actual gameplay, all archers will be provided basic training and sufficient time to practice shooting. No archery experience is required to play.
What should I wear?
Athletic shoe wear is recommended to play Archery Tag.. We suggest wearing comfortable clothing such as t-shirt and shorts or tights. We also recommend pulling long hair back and removing all jewelry prior to gameplay.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Players must use the bows and arrows provided by Archery Tag Mexico. No exceptions. However, players are encouraged to bring your own facemask with the approval of our staff.
How many people do I need to play?
You can play with however many players you want to bring up to 14 since the rate is per event not per person. We believe the most fun is had with a full field of 10-12 players.
How do I pay?
We accept cash pesos or US dollars. Exchange rate will be posted at the archery center.
How old do i need to be?
Players need to be a minimum of 9 years old.
